Project Details

One of the largest affordable housing developments in Portland, Louisa Flowers consists of 180,000 square feet, 12-stories, and 240 units. The building provides housing for residents earning at or below 60% of area median family income, with 20 units set aside for survivors of domestic violence.

The development offers access to public transportation and services, 6,500 square feet of retail space, as well as an historical display honoring its namesake, Louisa Flowers, a prominent local African American pioneer and civic leader. Residential housing is made up of studio, one- and two-bedroom units with an open layout, modern finishes, electric heating and cooling, large windows, and community lounge and kitchen areas.
